Thank you for the lovely wishes. The first part of celebration today is going to be lunch outside with my family. In the evening I'm going out for a movie with my friends and family. Then later in the evening I'd probably go out with my friends, not exactly to a nightclub but a restaurant cum pub, where you know I can hang out with my friends and have maybe a drink or two!
What gifts are you expecting? Any special gift from a special someone?
I always get the best gifts from my mom and my sister. Family always gives you the best gifts. And then my close friends also give me some nice gifts. But this year has been very special to me because I got some lovely gifts from my fans- a Dior watch, some perfume bottles, a musical card, which I thought was very touching, I think it was Ritu Shrivastava and a group of fans altogether who organized it.
Karan Singh Grover, aka Dr Armaan of Dill Mil Gaye, has no plans of ditching the serial for his film career
When I was auditioning for the role of Dr Armaan that time itself I knew that this is what I want to do. There was youth connect to this role, it was different from other dailies that I have done so far. It had a lot of drama but in different manner. And, I always wanted to do something thatwould help me connect with the people of our age. Once I was selected, I put my heart and soul to it and I love the way my life is going now. My life has definitely changed after doing Dill Mil Gaye, people relate completely to Dr Armaan and lot of people always keep giving me feedback on my role.
Actually it changed three times. First, it was Shilpa, I didn’t know her that well when we started the show but as time passed, we became very good friends then she got out of DMG for her own reasons. Then Sukriti took over as Ridhima. I didn’t know her but she is a cute little girl and very good friend. Then came Jenny. She and I go a long way, we have acted in Kasautii Zindagii Kay and know each other for the past five years. It feels great to work with her. My equation has been great with every Ridhima in Dr Armaan’s life.
Amidst rumours that Karan Grover is leaving Dill Mill Gayye, the actor confirms that he’s still very much a part of the show that’s made him a household name.
“I’m not leaving the show. TV was my first love and will always remain my first love,” he says. But that doesn’t mean he’s not working towards getting into films. “I have never said that I am leaving TV to do films, since it’s television that has helped me gain popularity. Shifting to films is adding to my resume, another way of entertaining my audience. In any field, everyone wants to move up in their career and it’s the same for me,” he explains.
But doesn’t it bother him that so many TV actors have had to return to television after not making it in Bollywood? “It does not bother me at all when TV stars don’t do well on screen since I only think

Riddhima will be crestfallen when she gets to know that it was her father Dr. Shashank (Mohnish Behl) who had lied to her that Armaan had walked out of her life when she was lying unconscious after the bullet injury. According to our reliable source, "Talks with Karan were on for quite a while now. Karan has always wanted to get back to the show. Now that things are finalized, he will soon start shoot. Though the exact date is not known, the buzz is that he will start shoot from 15th February".
Riddhima's (Jennifer Winget) life will soon take a different course as she finally succumbs to the pressures and accepts to marry Sid (Karan Wahi).
"It will be during the wedding sequence of Riddhima and Sid that Armaan will make his entry. He will have a totally new look, and will be seen with a beard like a typical Devdas", further informs our source.
If sources are to be believed, Karan Singh Grover is only back for a small cameo. "Things are not very clear, but it looks like he will be in for only a cameo. Also with few new shows in the pipeline on Star One, there are chances of the show ending too. But all depends on how the next track is accepted by the audience", adds our source. 
Karan Singh Grover has his ex-wife and the producers of Dill Mill Gayye puzzled. Apparently, he used to tell his wife Shraddha Nigam before their separation (as reported by Mumbai Mirror, October 6) that he was leaving for a 9am shoot but would only reach the sets at 4pm.
Meanwhile, the production house suffered as Karan spent much less time shooting than he was committed to. Now, the producers, Cinevistaa, have filed a complaint against him with CINTAA (Cine & TV Artistes Association) and will sue him to cover their losses of about Rs 2 crore.
Karan would often turn up late or not reports to the sets, even though Shraddha thought he was diligently slaving over his shoots. Not so long ago, Shraddha called up Cinevistaa for some work and asked for Karan, only to learn that he hadn't shown up.

Karan Singh Grover fans rejoiced when they heard of his comeback as Dr. Armaan in Star One's Dill Mill Gayye. They had yet another reason to smile when the actor confirmed that he is going to be part of the dance reality show on Star Plus, Zara Nachke Dikha.
But there seems to be a 
A little birdie tells us, "Karan has suffered a major back injury that has restricted his activity as of now. He has not been shooting for Dill Mill Gaye for the past few days, and is advised bed rest by doctors. So it looks unlikely that he will get alright in time to be part of Zara Nachke Dikha".
A point to be noted here is that, Karan was not even seen during the show's press conference. Till date, he has shot only for a promo and was not even seen in the exclusive music video shot at Karjat. While all the other contestants are making it count at the rehearsal halls, Karan has never been seen shaking his leg.
A contestant of Zara Nachke Dikha on terms of anonymity told us, "Yes, it is true that Karan has suffered a back injury which has forced him to be on bed rest. We have not seen him at the rehearsals, so this makes us wonder whether he will be fit enough to take part in the show".
An actor from the sets of Dill Mill Gaye also confirmed that Karan has suffered a back injury and is not shooting for the show.
The birdie told us, "There was a stage rehearsal organized yesterday for all the contestants, and Karan's absence was felt. But this does not mean that Karan has backed out of the show. There is a possibility that Karan be kept away from the dance floor for the initial episodes, as the concept gives room for a select few to perform every week. This will surely give more time for Karan to recover".
